Wesleyan, the specialist financial services provider, acquired DPAS, a major provider of practice-branded dental plans

The Birmingham business already operated Shropshire-based Practice Plan. It bought DPAS in order to strengthen its position as one of the largest providers of dental membership plans in the UK.

Craig Errington, Wesleyan Group CEO, said: “The acquisition of DPAS will enable us to strengthen our commercial offering in the dental market where we have a strong presence through other parts of the Group, including Practice Plan.”

Gary Anders, DPAS Managing Director, added: “Wesleyan is an established player in the dental market and has a deep understanding of it. We are pleased to become part of a Group that understands our business and our customers.

“DPAS will be part of a strong financial mutual with a great heritage and a reputation for customer service and product performance.”

Hines Associates provided financial advice to DPAS on the sale to Wesleyan.
