Hines is pleased to announce that it has advised Cardan on its partnership transaction with Söderberg & Partners, which involves the sale of a minority stake and a commitment to invest in future growth opportunities.

Cardan is a Worcester-based Group that acquires financial advisory firms. Cardan made its first acquisition – Bespoke-Advice Ltd – in October 2020. Since the investment, the business has grown assets on which it provides advice from £100m to £650m. Today, Bespoke-Advice Ltd operates from two offices in Worcester and London, employs over 30 people and is one of only four Chartered and B-Corp IFA businesses in the UK.

Alex Morley, Chief Executive of Cardan, expressed enthusiasm about the transaction: “It was a long journey to find a partner with a shared ethos and culture – Söderberg are a great fit for us and are very supportive. We are now looking forward to developing Bespoke-Advice to its full potential and to making further acquisitions in due course”.
