Hines Associates Limited (Hines) is delighted to announce that it advised the shareholders of Somerset Bridge Group Limited and Southern Rock Holdings Limited (Somerset) on their financial and strategic options in relation to their sale to Arch Reinsurance Ltd. (“Arch Re”), a subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd.

Somerset controls in excess of £250m gross written premium in the UK motor insurance market through a modern, vertically integrated distributor / carrier model.
