Randall & Quilter completed the sale of R&Q Marine Services, a specialist yacht and marine trades Managing General Agent (MGA) to Hiscox Ltd. As a Lloyd’s coverholder, R&Q Marine Services underwrites on behalf of leading Lloyd’s Syndicates and European insurers.

A market-leading underwriting team arranges cover for some of the world’s largest yachts, marketing through brands such as Yachtsure™ and Racecover™. The sale of RQMS for a price materially higher than its carrying value is part of the Group’s targeted disposal strategy to enable it to focus on its core strengths.
