Hines Associates Limited, the financial services specialist corporate finance firm, is delighted that Aon plc has acquired Henderson Insurance Broking Group (“Henderson”).

Henderson is one of the UK’s largest independent brokers with £300m of gross written premium, focusing on general insurance, health and benefits and trade credit insurance. Its clients range from large corporates through to mid-market and SME businesses. It employs over 400 people across 16 UK offices, predominantly in the north of England.

Hines brought Aon and Henderson together through understanding the ambitions and objectives of both parties.
